Each day will begin with a short nature walk, observing and collecting things with

which to draw, paint, and build.

Lessons and projects are based on the beauty of the natural world.

​

Daily class is 3 hours

(bring your own snack)

 

• Monday – Drawing – intro to graphite & value, contour, gesture drawing, and learning to see better to draw better

• Tuesday – Printmaking – simple linoleum cut printmaking from start to finish (safely)

• Wednesday – Color – "en plein air" watercolor or acrylic painting &/or pastel drawing on the deck of my home or in the local park surrounded by mountains with a view

• Thursday – Mixed Media – collage of magazine pages, drawings, paintings, textured 2-D, and smaller 3-D objects

• Friday – Sculpture – building with found objects from nature and other materials.
